Letter to DA Staff:

What the Hell?

129 of my deviations were moved from the catagory DA staff told me to place them in almost six months ago. I was told my work belonged in Artisan Crafts the first time some asshole harrassed me and reported all of my art. Now I find it dumped again into scraps with no warning.

I really don't have time to delete and reupload everything. I have this thing called a life. I demand my work be placed in the proper catagory with IS NOT scraps and this harrassment stop at once.

Whomever is doing this again.. DA staff told me my art belongs in Artisan Crafts - Misc six months ago when some asshat tried this.

Possibly moving to a new art server if DA doesn't get their shit together.... It would take less time to delete everything than move it.

I am trying to clear out work into scraps that does not belong in this gallery and you are making it very hard for me as I will have to go through your entire gallery and relocate it for you. Please move all your prograss and making of snapshots to scraps, and discontinue submitting to the wrong catagory, or I will need to take other measures to ensure the integrity of this gallery is maintained.

My reply: DA staff told me that was where my work belonged finished or not and I did ask quite a few times. Sadly I did not reach this message until quite far in my deleting and had moved some deviations back.

Oddly enough, SEVERAL of my FINISHED works were also moved telling me this is just another "delete everything or else!" harassment barrage. I'm very sad it came to this but I'm afraid I'll be leaving DA. Who needs this sort of crap after Hurricane Katrina?

My work was meant to be viewed in progress to inspire others to make their own dolls.. and I did inspire many. I'm sorry you feel it's crap or not up to your lofty standards.

From a very tired and very stressed artist at 6am who spent three hours trying to fix what you did - Fuck You. Fuck you hard.

With that said, I'm out of here. Look for me on Sheezy Art, I'll sign up when I'm not so damn tired. I just LOVE someone younger than me talking to me like I'm a little kid..

And while I'm on this rant let me just say that the shit I'm seeing picked for Daily Deviations lately is just that, SHIT. Someone submitted a picture of a woman's bare ass in a window. That's art? That's okay but progress pictures of a doll or two dolls in bed insult the integrity of DA? GET A FUCKING LIFE you people! It's PORN, some guy is whacking to it right now.

So delete my entire gallery DA. I don't fucking care. dedredhed can suck my imaginary dick. If I take a picture, IT MIGHT BE ART TOO!

UPDATE: I am Larxene on Sheezy Art. I'm likely only going to post finished doll photoshoots there as I don't have the energy to reupload the tutorials and everything I had here. Thanks again dedredhed.

I'm trying to delete my entire gallery but it's going slowly. Funny how a director can trash it in five minues but it's taken me 2 hours to delete 30 deviations.

That's considered art.. take a look in my scraps to see what isn't including FINISHED pieces and poses such as Alexia, Larxene, Axel, Zexion, Camui, Pizzazz, Roxy, Kairi, Riku, Ansem, Zero, Sora and Paopu

It's not just my progress pictures that are being moved. Pictures and scans of finished dolls are also being dumped into scraps! I've counted OVER 30. These are FINISHED pieces, some scanned/photographed nude so all the custom work can be seen.

This to me PROVES that this is just artist genocide. If it was JUST my unfinished works, maybe dedredhed would have a point but she's moving finished works as well which says to me that she's just going to move anything she personally does not like. That could mean six months from now, she could decide she doesn't like a certain doll and move every last picture of it. Apparently she's already started on the doll club I joined as well..

This is like a holocaust for Artisan Crafts artists. All of our hard work.. trashed because of one person.. who is rude and cold in notes but shiny and happy in public.

Oh and dedredhed, do you have Hasbro's permission to make My Little Pony customs for hurricane relief or to even display custom MLP in your gallery? They HATE custom makers last I heard. Maybe you have a few "policy violations" yourself.

This is another piece of soft porn chosen as a daily deviation. Normally I have no objections to nudes but in light of several photos being deleted or dumped because of policy violations, I find this extremely hypocritical and offensive. DA has a no porn policy yet two daily deviations this week are both soft pornography. Nice job there guys. My photo of my male cats being a bit too affectionate was a policy violation but we can show tits, pussy and ass? At least you couldn't see their genetalia nor were they having sex.

All the photos of Axel and Larxene being "cute" on their honeymoon. The excuse was they border more on photography... well then move them to that catagory because when I put the wedding pics there, they were moved to Artisan Crafts. (5)

Two pictures of Axel doll as he was originally finished. I later decided to work more on him but the pictures were, at that time, of a finished piece. (2)

Four pictures of Zexion doll after his hair cut and as a finished product. These are the ONLY good pictures I've ever gotten of this doll. (4)

Three scans of Camui FINISHED. (3)

Scan of Pizzazz and Roxy posed. Both dolls were done being worked on, only missing their custom outfits which I needed to have commissioned (I do not sow) (1)

Scan of Kairi after I straightened her hair and touched up her make up, also a finished product. (1)

Scan of Riku after his final hair cut as a finished product (1)

Scan of Korali with wet hair, at the time it was posted I believed he was completed (1)

Scan of Ansem as a finished revised product (1)

Scan of Kairi finished with her hair still curled - I didn't straighten it until months later. She was completed in this scan because I wasn't going to. (1)

WTF? I understand several of these dolls had revisions but these came much later. I wasn't aware I was to delete the old versions to preserve the integrity of my own gallery. Paopu, Zexion and Camui, all dolls who have never been revised in any way, shape or form, were scrapped as well..

What catagory do handmade dolls belong in anyhow? Since I got the digital cam, I've had nearly 30 of my pieces dumped into scraps for being in the wrong catagory!

WTF?! I considered my dolls to be traditional art but apparently if you take a picture of traditional art with a camera.. it's photography? Can someone explain this so I don't keep waking up to ALL my pieces moved into scraps and having to take an HOUR to move them back (if DA even allows that option.. the first time they did not)

And.. WHAT THE FUCK?! How do you get a copyright violation.. on a character you own the rights to?

Alexia Roule is MY character in Luna's rp. I created her. A doll of her doesn't violate copyrights.. because I own the damn copyrights. I can't violate myself v.v

So whomever reported that.. get the stick out of your ass or have Deviant Art create a Misc Art- Dollmaking- Fanart catagory.

I hate making parts in hair! I'm good at it but I really hate it. Unlike with real hair, you can't just find the part, you have to actually create it by sowing several strands of hair close together in a line. You can't leave a single bare spot and you have to make sure the hair falls in the right direction - each strand on each side exactly opposite. It's a very minor effect and quite easily overlooked when finished but it makes a huge difference in how the finished hair falls.

Korali has a part in his lucious golden blonde hair and after five hours, it's barely an inch long. Kuja's took me weeks and it's an inch and a half I think. Like I said.. I hate doing it @.@

The "Thirteenth Order" dolls are still bald and still filled with pins for their hairlines. I have no clue what color to make Marusha's hair yet and I'm still waiting on Zexion's eye color. Vixen, as I saw in his rendered pic, has a part in his hair so I'm preparing his scalp with pins for that. I have no clue how I'm going to do Axel's hair.. other than I plan to sow it in short and in layers.

Zexion needs a black shirt and jacket (on order from Peacedud) he also needs black pants and black shoes (having trouble finding more of those). Axel needs a new, lighter jacket like the rest (also on order). Lakchine is the only "finished" doll of this series... and I'm very unhappy with her coat (it has brown stitching). I had a PERFECT one picked out but the seller only took Paypal.

I don't think I'll do Lexeus unless I cuten him up.

Not much to update here except to say that I finally found out what color Marucia's eyes are (Blue if you're wondering) and now have a clear screen shot of his hair color now. I need one of Zexion next.

Sadly, my KH: COM rom fucked up when I used cheats so I didn't even get past Monstro. I'd start over but I'm getting the real Japanese cart later this week. I'm going to be so thankful for a REAL controller. Hopefully that will give me the play control I need to beat Hades without cheating.

SQUARE!!! What the FUCK were you thinking?! You create five new, cool characters for the sole purpose of killing them off in a game that can be beaten in 24 hours? We had to wait MONTHS to find out the identity of each new "Unknown" and apparently, they all die except for Axel.

And Vixen dies in such a manner that it's disturbed me all day. This is Disney, the company that would not let us see Bambi's mother die.. yet we can see Vixen brutally murdered by being backstabbed right in front of Sora... who can do nothing to help him. Is that fucked up or what?

Oops! Seems I never created the hairline for either Axel/Akai or Vixen so when I reached a stopping point on Korali and went to work on them.. I found they didn't even have the proper holes in their heads yet!


Korali now has his bangs though they aren't cut yet. I'm creating the part in his hair using pins at the moment. It'll be a week before I can start.

Zexion is prepped and painted. I just need to start his hairline and find out what color his eyes are.

Vixen is all full of pins XD I've got the basic hairline marked out. I need to look at pics of him to see if I need to do anything special to get his hair to fall right.

Axel/Akai has part of his hairline marked (I ran out of pins). He has long strips of hair at the sides of his face so I'm having to do his hairline a bit different so they'll fall right.

Marucia is a pain. No, literally. My friend created his tattoo since she roleplays him in our rp and it was quite complicated to reproduce on a tiny scale! I have no idea what color his hair is so he remains unpainted.
