I'm only sorry you couldn't see my gallery as I meant it - with the progression of each piece of art, showing each detail as it was added and giving a better understanding of how these things piece together. That was the point whether the director of Artisan Crafts saw it that way or not. The progression itself was art.

I might have believed her "all progress pictures must be put in scraps" defence had around 30 of my finished works not been tossed in scraps too. The excuses for that ranged from "they were too close to photography" to "I felt they were unfinished pieces". I'm more apt to believe that she didn't like my early pictures (which were taken using a scanner bed, it's all I had at the time) or was just so overzealous in her task to "restore integrity to my gallery" that she took it upon herself to be judge, jury and executioner of my work regardless of my feelings. It's sadly disheartening.

I really was offended by the "woman's butt" picture. True, it's a form of expression but in the light of several beautiful pieces of art from others, not just me, being deleted entirely for "policy violations" when a piece that borders so very closely to pornography is chosen as a Daily Deviation.. Well it looks like horrible favorism. I had a cute picture of one of my male cats trying to be overly affectionate with my other male cat. That was deleted as a policy violation last night. Today, I see a woman bent over as if she's about to recieve anal sex on nearly every page I go to.. it's rather rude.

My work always treadded the thin line between crafts, traditional and photography. The first time I was reported by a user who felt he needed to destroy my gallery after spamming it with Dollfie links, DA Staff told me only to submit to Artisan Crafts, Misc. I tried submitting things to photography, they were moved. Now I guess according to DA, my work doesn't belong anywhere unless this one director deems it so... which is sad..
